About The Position

Priority Pet Urgent Care in Morrisville, NC is a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic open from 4 pm to 12 midnight daily, providing urgent care for pets. The clinic is committed to providing accessible, quality care with a focus on making pets a priority. Requirements

Minimum of 1-year experience preferred
Compassionate and calm team player
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to properly restrain pets
Strong communication skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Nice To Haves

Proficient in sample collection
Obtaining medical histories
Processing laboratory tests and radiographs
Anesthesia monitoring

Responsibilities

Animal restraint
Triage of incoming patients
Collection and analysis of lab samples
Diagnostic imaging
Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
Administration of medications
Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
Surgical preparation and assistance
Anesthetic management
