Requirements

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desire to continue learning and growing in veterinary medicine
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds
1–2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
Willingness to obtain and maintain a Washington Medication Clerk License (training provided)

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
Support exam room flow and surgical procedures
Help obtain radiographs and assist with blood draws
Prepare and maintain treatment and exam areas
Communicate compassionately with clients and team members
Support patient care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic pets
Maintain accurate records and assist with daily hospital operations
