About The Position

John Young Parkway Animal Hospital is a 3-doctor progressive veterinary clinic providing excellent care to pets in the greater Orlando, FL area. We are proud to be an AAHA accredited animal hospital! We offer services including: pet examinations and wellness visits, vaccinations, routine check-ups, surgeries, dentistry, pet grooming and boarding! Requirements

Minimum of 1-year experience preferred

Proficient in sample collection
Obtaining medical histories
Processing laboratory tests and radiographs
Anesthesia monitoring

Responsibilities

Pet restraint
Triage incoming patients
Collection and analysis of lab samples
Diagnostic imaging
Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
Administration of medications
Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
Surgical preparation and assistance
Anesthetic management
