About The Position

Animal Medical Centre of Medina is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a supportive, collaborative team. We are a busy, high-quality, full-service animal hospital with four doctors and a team that is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. This role is also a great opportunity for someone interested in becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Requirements

Experience working in a veterinary hospital is preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Compassion for patients and their families
Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and team members
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Interest in growing within the veterinary field

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
Monitor patients and support their comfort and safety
Perform laboratory duties and assist with diagnostic testing
Support pharmacy tasks and medication preparation
Provide compassionate care and handling for patients
Deliver exceptional customer service and communication with clients
Help educate clients about pet health and treatment plans
