About The Position
Southdale Pet Hospital, which has served Edina since 1965, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join its team of veterinarians. The assistant supports veterinary exams, treatments, and surgical procedures; handles and restrains animals safely; administers medications and vaccines; collects laboratory samples; maintains patient records; educates clients about pet care; and helps keep the work environment clean and organized. The role requires at least one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, strong animal-handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures, effective communication and teamwork, and comfort interacting with clients.
