About The Position

As part of our 24/7 service, this full-time (40-hour/week) role is essential to maintaining the “Gator Standard” of care across our ICU, ER, and Progressive Care wards. You will support infection control through cleaning of all areas and equipment, sterilization, and stocking. Provide hands-on patient care (feeding, walking, grooming). Assist DVMs and technicians with triage, restraint, intake, and documentation. You’ll also gain unique experience with wildlife cases (overnights) and rotate through our Blood Bank service, learning the operations behind life-saving transfusions and working with our donor dogs. This role is an excellent foundation for careers in Veterinary Technology (CVT/VTS), Shelter/Charity work, and Animal Behavior & Care.
