About The Position

Veterinary Center of Parker, Inc. has a full-time opening for an Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. We focus on preventative wellness including breed specific healthcare as well as offering integrative treatments such as laser and muscle response testing.

Requirements

• Experience with animal restraint
• Comfortable around all types of animals
• Superior customer service skills
• Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years experience working as Veterinary Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtaining samples and setting up for laboratory procedures
• Client communication and education
• Performing medical procedures and treatments
• Ensuring medications are filled and explained to clients
• Operation, and maintenance of instruments and equipment
• Daily treatment of hospitalized patients
• Assisting in radiology
• Answering phones
• Help with scheduling appointments
• Cleaning and maintenance of hospital
