Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
Animal Medical Centre of Medina is hiring an experienced, full-time Veterinary Assistant. This role is within a busy, high-quality, full-service animal hospital with four doctors and a dedicated team focused on exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. The position offers a flexible schedule with rotating half-day Saturday shifts and opportunities for growth within a supportive, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about veterinary medicine, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and has a compassionate approach to patient and client care. This role is also a stepping stone for those interested in becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Requirements
- Experience working in a veterinary hospital is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Monitor patients and support their comfort and safety
- Perform laboratory duties and assist with diagnostic testing
- Support pharmacy tasks and medication preparation
- Provide compassionate care and handling for patients
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communication with clients
- Help educate clients about pet health and treatment plans
