About The Position

This role is for a Veterinary Assistant at a Veterinary Referral Surgery Practice in Roswell, GA. The Veterinary Assistant will be a key player in patient care, assisting the medical team with hands-on care and ensuring animals are treated with compassion and respect. They will also support the medical team by anticipating needs for a smooth workflow, assist clients with scheduling, payments, and communications, and maintain the hospital environment by performing upkeep and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or equivalent.
A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment with composure.
Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
