About The Position

Arlington Pet Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant. This is a full-time position with a negotiable salary based on experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 6 PM, with one day off during the week and rotating weekends. Arlington Pet Hospital and Resort is home to an amazing team, and this is your chance to be part of it! We are a collaborative group of seven veterinarians and a dedicated support staff who are passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their families. Our hospital is equipped with modern technology, including ultrasound, endoscopy, orthopedic surgery capabilities, and a full in-house Idexx lab suite. We believe that providing the best patient care starts with supporting one another, and we foster a fun, positive environment where teamwork and growth are encouraged.

Requirements

• Veterinary Assistant experience or LVT/CVT/RVT credentials
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Passion for providing high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Provide compassionate patient care and safe animal restraint
• Support diagnostics, including lab work and imaging
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
