Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
Modern Animal is seeking a Veterinary Assistant who wants to challenge conventional veterinary medicine and contribute to an equitable, inclusive, and human-centered workplace. The role involves delivering high-quality general-practice care, including dental procedures or developing skills in that area, while supporting pets, their families, and teammates. The assistant will help build trusting client and coworker relationships and contribute to a compassionate, supportive clinic culture. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may also be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. The listed hourly range is $1–$1, though actual base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician, assistant, or in a related role.
- Strong general-practice or dental experience, or a passion for developing in this area.
- Communicate with empathy and act with integrity.
- Interest in contributing to a culture that is transforming veterinary medicine.
