About The Position
South Bay Veterinary Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant for a full-time position. This role involves assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, including exams, treatments, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, strong teamwork and communication skills, a compassionate approach to animal care, and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment. The position offers a schedule of four ten-hour shifts, including a Saturday rotation.

- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Safely restrain animals for exams, blood draws, and treatments
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, and equipment
- Feed, water, walk, and monitor hospitalized or boarding animals
- Prepare supplies, medications, and instruments for daily procedures
