About The Position
Sierra Pet Clinic is a team-oriented, recently renovated, four-doctor practice located on the banks of the gorgeous Truckee River, in the heart of the Tahoe National Forest. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their team. The clinic fosters a positive culture with mentorship and support, encouraging professional development and authenticity. They offer a schedule that supports work-life balance with no night or weekend shifts, and promote a drama-free environment with monthly potlucks. Responsibilities
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
- Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
