About The Position

Greenville Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our fantastic team. We believe great patient care starts with a team that feels supported, appreciated, and able to maintain a healthy balance between work and everything else that matters. That’s why we don’t work nights or holidays, and our Saturday shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. rotate, giving our team every other weekend off. Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and the clinical team in providing compassionate patient care
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and day-to-day clinical procedures
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatments
• Support the team with diagnostic and clinical procedures as directed
• Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the veterinary team
• Maintain accurate and organized patient information
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and fellow team members
• Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas
• Follow hospital protocols and established standards of patient care
• Collaborate with the entire veterinary team to maintain an efficient workflow
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities
