We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team.

Requirements

• 2 years of in-clinical setting experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience working with industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint
• Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to gain strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Surgical assisting
• Drawing blood and running bloodwork
• Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
• Proper animal handling and restraint
• Client education
