About The Position
Nash County Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary assistant or technician to join our dedicated staff in Nashville, NC. We are a 3-doctor practice, fully equipped with in-house labs, digital radiographs, and dental radiographs. One of our doctors offers acupuncture services and sees exotics. We are happy to support you to develop your personal interests as well. Nashville, NC is a great place to call home with a charming downtown, convenient location, lots of history, great hiking and paddling around the Tar River, family-friendly amenities, and an excellent park system. One can also live in Raleigh or Rocky Mount and easily commute.
Requirements
- Veterinary Assistant or Technician qualifications.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Nice To Haves

- Experience with exotics.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests.
- Take and develop radiographs, including dental radiographs.
- Provide care for exotic animals.
- Offer acupuncture services.
- Support the development of personal interests within veterinary medicine.
