Veterinary Assistant - MRI
About The Position
Our BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our Team! This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system. As a MRI Veterinary Assistant, you will perform patient intake and triage, set-up and troubleshoot MRI room and machine, operate diagnostic imaging equipment (primarily MRI) and assist in capturing radiographs and other diagnostic images, perform venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement, according to associate level, provide clear and concise discharge instructions to clients, maintain accurate records, including patient history, treatment details, and client communication, and assist with the completion of cost estimates. You will also perform diagnostics such as CBC, Chem Panel, NOVA, iSTAT, and UA. Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care. Maintain open communication with the Neurology Clinicians.
Requirements
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
