About The Position
VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service. This is a full-time position consisting of (4) 10-hour shifts. The compensation ranges from $18 - $22 per hour, based on skill set and experience. VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists, established in 1998, has grown into a full-service, multi-disciplinary, specialty-only practice within a 32,000 sq. ft. facility operating 24/7/365. We feature an in-house national reference laboratory, blood bank, and an Education Center. Our Advanced Imaging department is equipped with on-site MRI, CT, C-Arm, and Linear Accelerator. Our team includes specialists in Surgery, Canine Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, Neurosurgery, and Radiation Oncology. We foster a collaborative environment where doctors, nurses, and technical staff work together to provide optimal patient care, excellent client service, and open communication with referring veterinarians. You will encounter a diverse and stimulating caseload, utilizing advanced imaging and monitoring tools. Located in West Palm Beach, Florida, our hospital offers a desirable location with year-round pleasant weather and proximity to urban, suburban, and rural living.
Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Experience in emergency or specialty medicine, or several years of experience in general practice
- Flexible schedule will include some weekends and holidays
