About The Position
Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital, a small animal practice in Camarillo, CA, is seeking a Veterinarian. The hospital offers general, urgent, and emergency services, along with advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. They have a modern facility with digital radiography, an in-house IDEXX lab, ultrasound, Tonovet, and laser therapy. The practice is a partner with Ventura County Animal Services and is committed to community service. They are looking for experienced DVMs, new graduates, and those seeking part-time, full-time, or relief work. The position offers flexible scheduling with no on-call or after-hours responsibilities. New graduates will benefit from a comprehensive mentorship program, including surgical training, peer networking, and ongoing case support.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent license eligible to practice in California.
- Passionate about small animal medicine, client care, and teamwork.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability.
- Eager to learn, grow professionally, and contribute to a collaborative clinic environment.
- New graduates are welcome.
- Experienced veterinarians with surgical or emergency interest are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Provide general, urgent, and emergency veterinary services for dogs and cats.
- Perform advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
- Utilize advanced diagnostics such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser therapy.
- Collaborate with the team to provide compassionate patient care.
- Participate in community outreach and partnerships with Ventura County Animal Services.
- Mentor new graduates and support their professional development.
