About The Position

Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Tacoma, WA is looking for a veterinarian to join their growing 3-doctor practice. The hospital is located in the Stadium District neighborhood of Tacoma, 30 miles south of Seattle. They offer in-house laboratory, digital dental/X-rays, ultrasound, and modern equipment for practicing quality medicine. Veterinarians provide full medical/surgical services, routine/urgent care, and collaborate with specialists (Orthopedic, Cardiac, Ultrasound) for in-hospital services. The culture values integrity, compassion, inclusivity, and quality care with an emphasis on low stress/fear-free techniques. The team includes experienced licensed technicians and trained assistants. After-hour emergencies are referred, allowing for a family-friendly 4-day work schedule with no weekends. The hospital recently completed a remodel to provide same-day/urgent care services to the downtown Tacoma area.
