About The Position
Suffield Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a small animal and exotic caseload. The ideal candidate is comfortable with canine and feline dentistry (exotics dental care a plus), performs routine and GP surgeries (no orthopedic or neurosurgery), and builds strong client relationships to support the human-animal bond. Exposure to reproductive cases is included, with interest in canine reproduction welcomed. Strong communication, dedication, and a “say yes to pets” attitude are key qualities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Connecticut.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable with exotics dental care.
- Interest in canine reproduction.
