About The Position

Poland Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, collaborative veterinarian to join their growing 100% small-animal practice. They welcome both new graduates and experienced veterinarians and offer a supportive team environment, modern equipment, and opportunities to grow professionally. The recently expanded, modern facility includes four exam rooms, a large treatment area with a dedicated dental station, a bright surgery suite, an enclosed X-ray room, a large DVM office, a staff breakroom, and a large dog run. The practice partners with Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills and Friends of Feral Felines, offers complimentary exams for newly adopted pets, and donates monthly to rescue organizations in memory of beloved patients. There are no after-hour emergencies or on-call duties, as the practice partners with trusted local referral centers for emergency and specialized care. They also offer access to traveling veterinary specialists in cardiology and orthopedics. The practice continues to invest in technology and patient care, including the ezyVet practice management system (with SmartFlow coming soon), WebPACS, IDEXX Catalyst and ProCyte laboratory equipment, IDEXX Reference Labs, Midmark VetPro 1000 dental unit and digital dental X-ray, Sedecal VetRay X-ray, SonoScape ultrasound with a training program, and a Tonopen.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
  • Compassionate and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with modern veterinary equipment and technology.
  • Willingness to engage in professional development.
  • Valid veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
