Veterinarian - In-Home Hospice & End-of-Life Care
About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking veterinarians for part-time and full-time positions to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets in the Louisville, Kentucky area and surrounding regions. This private, family-owned practice emphasizes compassion, balance, and purpose, offering a career free from corporate pressure and restrictive non-compete agreements. Veterinarians will perform in-home euthanasia, hospice and palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, and provide compassionate family support. The role features unhurried appointments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive leadership team focused on well-being.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted
