About The Position

Bowdon Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in the heart of Bowdon, Georgia, known for providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets in a welcoming, small-town environment. The hospital offers a wide range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and boarding, all supported by an experienced and dedicated veterinary team. With a strong focus on personalized treatment and client relationships, Bowdon Animal Hospital strives to ensure every pet receives attentive, individualized care while supporting the overall well-being of animals in the community. The clinic has an average daily patient volume of 15-20 appointments per day with a support staff ratio of 2:1. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, some urgent care, a small amount of livestock, and occasionally other cases. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, and a dental suite. The team culture is collaborative, teaching-focused, and high-touch.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
Passionate about patient care and long-term client relationships
