About The Position
At Home Veterinary is seeking a mobile veterinarian to join our unique team and serve clients throughout our Zone 1 area, including Newton, Wellesley, Natick, and surrounding communities. Enjoy the flexibility of starting and ending your day from home while delivering high-quality care in the comfort of your patients’ homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor who isn't a fan of surgery and values meaningful, one-on-one client connections. The practice is a mobile GP practice with an average daily patient volume of 6-8 appointments per day. The veterinarian will be accompanied by a vet assistant that travels with them. The case mix includes wellness and some urgent care. The practice offers access to diagnostics, scopes, and a computer to travel with the veterinarian. The team culture is described as collaborative, even in the mobile setting.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
