About The Position
Blue Valley Animal Hospital is hiring a part-time Associate Veterinarian with the capability to work a weekend schedule. This role is ideal for early-career veterinarians, parents or caregivers needing a flexible schedule, or experienced veterinarians seeking better work-life balance while still practicing medicine. The position offers a diverse caseload focusing on urgent care and general practice appointments, with no surgery or dentistry required. The schedule is a consistent Saturday-Sunday-Monday block with no on-call duties. You will have a 2:1 support staff ratio, ensuring ample assistance. The practice serves a growing client base in Southern Overland Park and is recognized as a Best of Kansas City 2025 award winner, with over 40 years of service. Blue Valley Animal Hospital is a respected full-service companion animal practice equipped with modern diagnostics, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and a surgical suite. The team includes 5 DVMs, 3 of whom are co-owners, fostering a culture of case collaboration. Overland Park is noted for its high quality of life, excellent schools, and vibrant scene.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in the state of Kansas.
