About The Position

Olde Towne Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time experienced Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, guinea pigs, and more. We are a place people genuinely want to work, reflected in our tenured team with many staff members who have been here for 25+ years and some for over 40 years. Our hospital offers a fun, supportive work environment where collaboration, respect, and strong relationships are part of everyday life. What to Expect: A schedule that respects your time. Our last appointment is typically at 4:30pm during the non-seasonal months and 5:20pm during the busier April through October season. There are no on-call duties or holiday requirements. That said, this is a team that says yes to patients and the community, so there may be occasional days when you stay a bit later for a last-minute need rather than heading out right at the end of your shift. A 2-to-1 staff to doctor ratio. You will have the support—and respect—you need to be excellent for our patients. Our team currently consists of 5 DVMs, 3 full-time experienced LVTs, 11 veterinary assistants, 10 receptionists. Olde Towne Animal Hospital is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital located in Southampton, NY. Serving the local community since 1962, we have built an excellent reputation and a loyal, growing client base. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, we meet rigorous standards achieved by only 14% of veterinary practices, reflecting our commitment to high-quality medicine and patient care. Hospitalization & Internal Medicine: We offer comprehensive hospitalization services including intravenous fluid therapy, chemotherapy, and advanced diagnostics. Our in-house IDEXX laboratory provides rapid results, with access to external reference labs for expanded testing including bloodwork, urinalysis, and histopathology. Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, electrocardiograms, blood pressure monitoring, dermatologic diagnostics, and Tonovet glaucoma testing. We also provide cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy for gastrointestinal disorders, and ultrasound-guided biopsies in collaboration with a board-certified internist. Surgery: Our surgical services include a wide range of soft tissue procedures such as spays, neuters, cystotomies, foreign body removals, and mass removals including lumpectomies. Orthopedic and advanced procedures are performed by a board-certified surgeon. Dentistry & Oral Surgery: We feature a brand-new oral surgery suite and maintain high standards of dental care, including full-mouth radiographs and dental staging to support thorough diagnosis and treatment.
