About The Position

Blue Spruce Animal Clinic in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic offers a calm, homey feel and is located in downtown Castle Rock, close to amenities. They see primarily dogs and cats, with a small percentage of exotic patients including rabbits, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, snakes, hedgehogs, iguanas, and tortoises. The clinic is equipped with in-house ultrasound, laser therapy, digital diagnostics, dental equipment, multiple anesthesia machines and surgical suites, and AI-supported medical records. Doctors typically see up to 16 patients per day with 30-minute appointments, and surgery days are scheduled separately. The clinic emphasizes a positive, supportive, and drama-free work environment with a focus on work-life balance.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Comfortable seeing exotics medicine (highly beneficial).
• Ability to build strong client relationships.
• Good attitude, humor, and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Practice veterinary medicine on dogs, cats, and occasional exotic patients.
