About The Position
PetVet Animal Hospital in Honolulu is seeking a confident and compassionate DVM to join their growing team. This is a full-service small animal hospital known for its collaborative culture, strong medical standards, and multigenerational relationships with the community. They are a teaching hospital where learning, support, and shared growth are emphasized. This role is best suited for veterinarians with prior urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery experience who enjoy clinical variety and being part of a team-focused environment. General Practice Veterinarians looking to grow further are also encouraged to apply. The hospital is equipped with modern technology including MLS Cold Laser Therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture, bi-weekly visiting radiologist, monthly visiting cardiologist, SmartFlow Digital Workflow, eVet cloud-based PIMS, Cubex Controlled Drug Management, Digital Radiography, Dental Radiography, Ultrasound, a large surgical suite, and two dedicated dental tables. A skilled technical team provides 24-hour technician coverage for triage and client communication.
Requirements
- Experienced veterinarian.
- Proficient in Urgent Care, Emergency, and Emergency Surgery.
- Enjoys a diverse and engaging caseload.
- Communicates clearly and compassionately with clients.
- Works well in a collaborative, multi-doctor setting.
- Values autonomy with strong medical judgment.
- Prior urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery experience preferred.
- Not ideal for new graduates, but motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply for other opportunities.
