About The Position
Veterinary Urgent Care Group is a new employee-owned veterinary healthcare network focused on bridging the gap between general practice and after-hours care. They manage a dynamic and varied caseload, focusing exclusively on urgent and complex cases rather than preventive care. The team delivers comprehensive diagnostic services, offers a broad range of surgical and procedural capabilities, and prioritizes compassionate client communication. They operate in a highly collaborative environment where every team member is empowered as an owner, contributing to the success and growth of the practice(s). This role offers an ownership opportunity in a veterinary clinic with no upfront costs.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the corresponding province.
- Interest in Emergency Medicine without the challenging hours.
- Interest in learning more about Veterinary Business and Ownership.
Responsibilities
- Manage a dynamic and varied caseload, focusing exclusively on urgent and complex cases.
- Deliver comprehensive diagnostic services.
- Offer a broad range of surgical and procedural capabilities.
- Prioritize compassionate client communication.
- Contribute to the success and growth of the practice(s) as an owner.
- Drive business decisions.
- Practice emergency style medicine without overnights or extensive inpatient management.
Benefits
- Ownership of 10% equivalent of a hospital at the parent company level.
- Quarterly profit share bonus.
- Base pay ($150,000) or 25% production (whichever is greater).
