About The Position

Briarwood Veterinary Hospital is searching for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a challenging but not exhausting role in a general practice with a loyal and compliant clientele. The hospital has been a part of the Grand Blanc community for 33 years and has a strong relationship with the community. The staff is skilled and supportive, dedicated to the care and healing of pets. Each veterinarian is assigned a licensed technician and a fully trained technician assistant during their shifts. The hospital is fully equipped and open to new additions a doctor might want to implement. They also engage in wildlife work with Short's Fawn Rescue and care for local Police dogs.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
• Ability to work with a licensed technician and a fully trained technician assistant.
• Willingness to care for local Police dogs.
• Willingness to engage in wildlife work.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in adding new equipment or services.
• Experience with wildlife rehabilitation.
• Experience with law enforcement animal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care in a general practice setting.
• Work with a licensed technician and a fully trained technician assistant.
• Perform outpatient and surgery duties.
• Care for local Police dogs.
• Engage in wildlife work with Short's Fawn Rescue.
