About The Position

ArkVets is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join their team. This role involves performing consultations for both sick and well pets, diagnostics, elective and emergency surgeries including dentistry, and other medical/surgical treatments. The practice has a history of caring for a variety of animals and is focused on developing its team members. ArkVets aims to create a positive veterinary practice environment where staff can thrive personally and professionally, while providing excellent care to clients and their pets. They offer modernized services such as CT, endoscopy, full in-house labs, ultrasound, and digital radiology, adhering to AAHA standards for surgeries and dentistry. The position does not involve on-call duties and the clinic is closed on Sundays.

Requirements

  • State Veterinary Board License must be in good standing prior to the start date.
  • Flexible work schedule, with availability to work some weekends and holidays
  • Hours of availability between 8AM and 8PM
  • Great attitude and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Performing consultations for both sick and well pets
