About The Position

Commencement Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a General Practitioner (GP)-focused Veterinarian to partner with the Chief of Staff, Dr. Melissa Moss-Horton. This role will focus on wellness, surgery, and dentistry cases within a fully equipped hospital, collaborating with a supportive team. The veterinarian will lead the GP side of the practice, handling cases from puppy/kitten visits to senior pet care, and performing surgeries and dentistry using modern tools and technology. The position offers a well-balanced schedule with no weekends, late hours, or on-call duties, operating Tuesday through Friday. There is flexibility for morning procedures and afternoon appointments, with an option for a 3-day work week (Tuesday-Thursday).

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Washington.
Experience with general practice caseloads, including surgery and dentistry.
Proficiency with modern diagnostics such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment.
Compassionate and collaborative approach to patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities
