About The Position

Community Animal Hospital of RPB is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their established practice. This AAHA accredited hospital, since 1990, combines longstanding client relationships with updated equipment and a team that cares about each other, their patients, and their families. The caseload is approximately 90% small animal and 10% exotics, with a mix of wellness care, sick visits, same-day appointments, and minor emergencies. The hospital received interior and equipment upgrades in 2026 and features four exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, and a treatment area. The team includes experienced veterinary technicians, dedicated assistants, and a strong client service team. Some staff members are certified in BLS/ALS CPR, with others enrolled in Penn Foster programs.

Requirements

• Experienced veterinarian
• DVM or equivalent degree
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida
• Proficiency in small animal and exotic medicine
• Ability to perform surgical procedures
• Experience with digital radiography and ultrasound
• Experience with dental radiography and equipment
• Familiarity with therapeutic laser and electrocautery
• Proficiency in in-house diagnostics

Nice To Haves

• AAHA accreditation experience
• Experience with Penn Foster programs

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness care for small animals and exotics.
• Diagnose and treat sick animals.
• Handle same-day appointments and minor emergencies.
• Utilize digital radiography and ultrasound.
• Perform dental procedures including radiography.
• Administer therapeutic laser treatments.
• Utilize electrocautery and upgraded surgical lighting.
• Conduct in-house diagnostics using SediVue, SNAP Pro, ProCyte, and Catalyst.
