About The Position

Riverside Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join their team in Kelso, WA. This is a full-service small animal general medicine practice providing comprehensive pet care to the Longview and Kelso communities. The hospital has been serving the community since 1976 and is equipped with advanced technology including comprehensive in-house testing, digital x-ray, a surgical suite, dental suite, and a pharmacy. They offer a broad range of services for dogs, cats, and other small animals, including pet laser therapy, on-site laboratory testing, ultrasound, radiology, preventative dental care, care for various small exotic animals, emergency care for current patients, and domestic & international health certificates.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State (or eligible for licensure).
• Experience in small animal general medicine.
• Proficiency in diagnostic procedures, including radiology and ultrasound.
• Surgical skills.
• Ability to provide care for a diverse range of small animals, including exotics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Mentorship or partnership in practice desired.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with pet laser therapy.
• Experience with on-site laboratory testing services.
• Experience with domestic & international health certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pet care to small animals.
