About The Position

This is a balanced position for a veterinarian who values both patient care and team contribution, offering a blend of hands-on veterinary practice within a supportive team environment that values collaboration, compassion, and shared success. The opportunity arose due to an internal promotion, reflecting the company's commitment to growth and development. The role seeks an Associate Veterinarian who contributes to a positive culture, shares knowledge, and creates a safe, valued, and well-cared-for environment for pets and people. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative setting, delivering high clinical standards, and continuously growing their skills. Mornington Peninsula Vet Care provides extensive exposure in general veterinary practice, without the overwhelm of emergency work. The Mornington Peninsula Vet Care clinic is a purpose-built facility with a team including surgery-focused nurses, client care staff, and an experienced practice manager. Proximity to an Emergency and Referral Hospital means access to specialists, emergency vets, and advanced diagnostic tools, fostering a collaborative environment for optimal patient outcomes. The role offers the energy of a hospital-style setting within a structured GP schedule. As part of Peninsula Vet Care's network of five clinics, it is the region's largest veterinary provider. Located in Mornington, the area offers beaches, wineries, cafés, markets, and walking spots, with the industrial-estate location providing access to coffee, lunch spots, gyms, and shops for a balanced lifestyle.
