About The Position
Winder Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal practice serving Winder and the growing Barrow County community. We provide high-quality, compassionate medicine with a focus on preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and excellent client communication. We’re seeking a confident, compassionate Medical Director to lead clinical operations, mentor staff, and help shape the future of patient care and client service. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)

- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to a loyal client base
- Lead and support the veterinary team with confidence and professionalism
- Establish and uphold medical standards and protocols
- Collaborate with management on hospital operations and growth
- Serve as a clinical mentor to support staff and promote a positive workplace culture
