Veterinarian (DVM) - Kingston Regional Pet Hospital
About The Position
Kingston Regional Pet Hospital is an after-hours emergency hospital located in Kingston, ON. We are a mentoring team of DVMs and RVTs who encourage everyone to step outside of their comfort zone and learn new skills. We are a fast-paced environment dealing with emergencies in small animals. Our team is supportive, easy going and enjoys light-hearted times during the stressful ones. Our ideal team member would be eager to learn, enjoy a fast pace of work while being able to multi-task and be superior in client communication skills. We are open overnight Mondays through Wednesdays and 24 hours starting Thursday evenings to Monday mornings and all holidays to serve the needs of the community. Flexibility in schedule and a work-life balance are important to us.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience.
- High standard of medical expertise.
- Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
- Confidence in making independent decisions.
- Ability to manage complex cases.
- Ability to respond to emergencies.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application.
