About The Position
Right at Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join their team to care for a veteran client in the Rogue Valley area, including Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, Eagle Point, White City, Central Point, Phoenix, and Talent. The role involves providing in-home support to enable seniors and vulnerable adults to live safely and independently. The company emphasizes connection, dignity, and comfort in their care approach.
Requirements
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID.
- Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Providing medication reminders.
- Assisting with mobility and transportation.
- Safety supervision and peace of mind.
- Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
- Communicating effectively with our office team.
