About The Position

The Fitter is an individual selected to fabricate, fit, and assemble the structural components of various products. This role requires analyzing blueprints, using proper equipment to fuse components, and ensuring all tolerances are met according to drawings, QC, and calculations. The Fitter will work closely with the Production Manager and QC to ensure maximum efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a relevant field
• Communications skills in English/Spanish (if applicable)
• Experience in a variety of fitting procedures
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use PPE
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Familiar with Global Vessel and Tank software programs

Nice To Haves

• Vessel fitter: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Fit components according to drawings and job requirements
• Use proper equipment to fuse components together
• Analyze blueprints to ensure proper components are being used
• Layout and fit equipment with all tolerances per drawing, QC and calculations
• Work with Production Manager and QC to ensure maximum efficiency
