Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in a Distribution Center, Manufacturing, Operations or Supply Chain environment
3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence roles.
Demonstrated experience leading kaizen events and delivering measurable operational improvements.
Ability to travel nationally up to 10% .

Responsibilities

Own and deploy VES across the Romeoville Distribution Center, ensuring consistent application of principles, tools, and behaviors.
Lead kaizen events, value stream mapping, problem solving, and standard work to improve operational performance.
Align daily management systems, tiered accountability, and site performance metrics to business goals.
Build internal capability by enabling leaders to independently lead and sustain continuous improvement.
Act as a trusted thought partner to the Site Director and Operations Leadership Team.
Partner with site leadership to identify priority value streams and execute end‑to‑end improvement initiatives.
Sustain improvements through standard work, visual management, and leader routines; track and communicate results.
Serve as the site connection to the VES Community of Practice and collaborate with other VES leaders and the VES Office.
