About The Position

Snyder & Associates, Inc. is seeking an entry-level engineer for a structural analysis and design engineering position focusing on the design and specification development of vertical structure projects. This role is part of the Shuck-Britson structures team in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area and is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop their skills and advance their career.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BS Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structures.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred or the ability to earn within a reasonable timeframe.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks concurrently.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Masters degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project engineers in the analysis, conceptualization, design, and construction of projects involving vertical structures.
• Regular interaction with other engineers, support staff, and clients.
• Working with both public and private clients.
