About The Position

The Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock stadium are looking for part-time security personnel dedicated to providing excellent security service for Hard Rock Stadium. This role will be ideal for candidates with keen attention to detail and strong integrity to always keep the venue safe and secure simultaneously upholding consistent 24-hour surveillance. This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. This position pays $30 per hour.

Requirements

Willingness to work all shifts with a minimum 20-hour weekly schedule. Shift 1 (6am – 2pm), Shift 2 (2 pm – 10pm), and Shift 3 (10pm – 6 am)
Must have the ability to anticipate needs, assess situations and act accordingly
Dedication to providing excellent customer service to Hard Rock Stadium guests and employees in addition to maintaining a professional appearance.
Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license
Ability to work nights, extended hours, weekends, and holidays
Offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

1 year security or event experience preferred
Associate or bachelor’s degree in related studies preferred
Class D security license preferred
Previous Military or Law enforcement experience preferred
Experience in conflict resolution/de-escalation preferred

Responsibilities

Patrol interior and exterior property to ensure access points are secure
Record incident reports and funnel to onsite shift leaders, security management and other related departments as needed
Maintain annual CPR training certification
Execute a thorough security screening for all staff and guests that enter stadium property including bag checks, and utilization of handheld and walk through magnetometers
Monitor stadium guest access system to ensure all stadium guests are recorded
Monitor fire/burglar alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems in the Command Center during normal operations and stadium events
Greet stadium guests and log visitors into the security system while preserving Hard Rock Stadium service culture
Maintain a strong understanding of stadium layout, policies and procedures and proactively provide assistance to guests and staff during emergency situations and adhere to safety rules
Respond quickly and accurately to security incidents while sustaining firm and consistent communication
Maintain knowledge of all post positions with the ability to adapt to organizational needs
Accurately record action items such as call-ins, gate visits and unusual CCTV activity during shift in 24/7 software to produce precise shift reports
