About The Position

The Venue Nation Analytics team is seeking an intern to support Food & Beverage analytics across Live Nation Entertainment’s owned and operated venues. The role focuses on data quality, business intelligence reporting, creating and maintaining dashboards, and ensuring post-event recaps are complete. The internship is paid and begins as soon as possible in 2027. It starts at 10–20 hours per week during the school year, increases to 40 hours per week for 12 weeks in the summer, and returns to part-time hours when the school year resumes. School-year hours are flexible based on the student’s schedule. This is an in-person position at the company’s Fulton Market offices in Chicago.

Requirements

• Pursuing or completing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related major.
• Must have completed or be in the process of completing junior-year coursework.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Lookups, Pivot Tables, Nested Formulas, and Logical Formulas.
• Positive attitude, ability to communicate within all levels of the organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Passion for live music.
• Applicants for U.S. employment must possess work authorization that does not require employer visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Tableau and data visualization.
• Coursework in or understanding of relational database fundamentals, data warehouses, and basic SQL.
• Experience leveraging LLMs to make day-to-day tasks more efficient.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food & Beverage team with ongoing analyses, including custom data requests, tour insight reports, research requests, testing recaps, and data quality checks.
• Organize and maintain Post-Show Event Recap data to ensure timely and accurate event-performance reporting.
• Assist in creating and maintaining data dictionaries, business definitions, and related documentation to improve data accuracy and usability.
• Review and resolve AI-assisted data-cleansing outputs, escalating exceptions or ambiguous records as needed.
• Assist with Tableau dashboard and dataset maintenance.
