About The Position
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Vendors to join our team at Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois. As a Vendor, you will be selling food and beverage products to guests in the seating area throughout the venue. Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, and retail services at Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox, and has been a partner of the White Sox since 1940. We manage concession stands at the 40,615-seat stadium with a menu offering Windy City-inspired favorites.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years’ of age
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Superb guest service, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Sell food and beverage items to guests throughout the sports venue, serving alcoholic beverages responsibly, verifying identification and following unit and company alcohol policies
- Monitor stock of food and beverage items
- Process payment and return required change to guests
- Effectively communicate with guests, team members and supervisor
