Full-Time Vendor Sourcing Specialist (AM Shift)
About The Position
The Vendor Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end vendor intake and onboarding process at TFG National. This role owns the Vendor Request Form (VRF) process from intake through fulfillment, partners with Operations to identify markets in need of additional vendor support, and leads vendor outreach, onboarding, and follow-up. The Vendor Sourcing Specialist also partners closely with Vendor Governance to keep the Master Vendor List current, manages mass vendor communications, supports new client rollouts, and serves as a resource to vendors navigating TFG National.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage relationships with vendors.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking the initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Janitorial Operational knowledge or background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own intake, management, and action on the Vendor Request Form (VRF), ensuring vendor needs are addressed accurately and on time.
- Partner with Operations to identify markets and territories where additional vendor support is needed.
- Lead vendor outreach and onboarding, guiding new vendors through the setup process at TFG National.
- Follow up within 45 days to confirm that new vendors have been assigned work, escalating as needed.
- Work with Vendor Governance to ensure the Master Vendor List is accurate and kept up to date.
- Manage mass communications to vendors through the Vendor Relations distribution list.
- Serve as a resource for vendors, directing them to the appropriate departments within TFG National.
- Assist with vendor coverage and readiness in support of new client rollouts.
- Apply vendor negotiation skills to support favorable terms and vendor relationships.
