Objective of Position: The Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for servicing and maintaining vendor relationships developed by company sales personnel within defined core target markets. The position involves day-to-day servicing of individual lessee (“end user”) accounts until such end user’s financing is booked. The secondary responsibility of this position is to assist other sales personnel in identifying potential new vendor relationships and work to secure those vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in lease administration and or lease sales.
  • 3+ years of experience with contract negotiation and development required.
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop, communicate and implement plans that support the overall goals of the Bank.
  • Be recognized as a strategic thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be self-motivated and an effective time and project manager with a strong attention to detail.
  • Have strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to identify, understand and define problems, evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects, and implement high quality solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to directly manage and communicate multiple projects and priorities depending on organizational needs and strategies.
  • Possess strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages vendor relationships by providing services such as financing quotes, engaging end users to discuss/negotiate financing options, structure financing to meet the end users’ needs.
  • Answers questions regarding document requirements, verbiage, and purpose. Obtains management approval regarding requested exceptions/changes.
  • Responsible for credit application generation and submission of applications to the Credit Department. Obtains financial information or other required credit information needed to support an end user’s application.
  • Prepares and delivers proper documentation to end user and communicates with vendor the status of a transaction.
  • Reviews incoming executed documents and communicate with customers on any items required prior to issuing a Purchase Order (PO) to the vendor. Coordinates issuance of a PO to the vendor.
  • Obtains end user payment authorization and facilitates the vendor funding process.
  • Assists sales teams in identifying and sourcing new business relationships.
  • Provides customer service related to billing inquiries, works with billing/collections staff, facilitates payoff requests.
  • Performs administrative functions such as answering phones, sending original documents to Headquarters, preparing labels (i.e. Federal Express) for vendor payments, ordering office supplies and interacting with trade personnel that support the office, sorting and distributing mail and forwarding incoming lease payments to the appropriate department.
  • Enters data into IT systems as directed by supervisor.
  • May attend and participate in trade shows and external company events.
  • All other duties as assigned.
