About The Position

VARITE is looking for a qualified Vendor Master Data Support professional in Ridgefield, CT for a hybrid role. The client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative medicines. VARITE, established in 2000, is an award-winning minority business enterprise providing global consulting & staffing services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. This role involves supporting the supplier on-boarding team, performing data analysis, cleaning and enriching the vendor master database, reviewing and removing ordering addresses, determining and blocking inactive vendors, and handling bank confirmations for vendor changes.

Requirements

• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated high degree of accuracy, problem-solving and problem resolution as well as high attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Intercultural awareness, interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills for optimal teamwork.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Well structured working style, organizational skills and analytical thinking to strive for operational excellence.
• Minimum of 2 years administrative, customer service and/or relevant business experience.
• High School (Diploma or GED) is required.
• Only USC or GC

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of SAP/SRM would be preferred.
• Business School certification or Associates degree not needed but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the supplier on-boarding team on daily activities.
• Data analysis on existing vendor master database.
• Deep dives into existing vendor data base to cleans and enrich vendor master data.
• Review ordering addresses and remove ordering addresses where appropriate.
• Determine inactive vendors and block inactive vendors accordingly.
• Bank confirmations for vendor change.
