About The Position

Vendor management is a discipline that oversees and manages relationships between our company and our vendors while ensuring our expectations in terms of cost, quality, service and compliance are met. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as this role drives the foundation to provide an enterprise lens on vendor services starting from discovery efforts to align with our strategic goals. Hybrid role (3 days in-office) based in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of negotiating and contacting experience.
• The ability to communicate and present to C-suite level.
• 3+ years of vendor management experience.

• Negotiation and contracting experience preferred
• Vendor management experience preferred
• Financial analysis preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive strategy aligning vendors with company’s growth and operational objectives
• Lead contract negotiation to achieve favorable outcomes that create value without compromising quality or compliance
• Audit select vendor invoices to ensure appropriate cost controls; pricing remains in alignment with effort and estimating future costs based on forecasting
• Collect and document discovery information on the vendor portfolio landscape to evaluate and action leverage or consolidation opportunities
• Identify and evaluate new potential vendors that could add value and enhance our capabilities
• Primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on vendor-related initiatives, ensuring transparency and consistent communication
• Build trust by fostering strong, collaborative relationships and cultivating a diverse network
• Identifying and collaborating on continuous improvement opportunities
