About The Position

The Vendor Manager of Strategic Accounts is responsible for owning and strengthening Wellfit’s most critical third-party partnerships across payments, lending, and membership ecosystems. This role serves as the primary point of contact for strategic vendors, ensuring alignment with Wellfit’s product, operational, and service goals. You will manage performance, negotiate commercial terms, and drive continuous improvement across vendor relationships. This position works cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Service teams to ensure vendor partnerships directly support customer success and business growth. This role requires strong influence without direct authority, operational discipline, and the ability to drive outcomes and accountability across external partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex external partnerships in fintech, payments, healthcare IT, or SaaS environments
  • Experience in vendor management, strategic partnerships, or account management
  • Strong contract negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and financial services compliance standards
  • Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and cross-functional leadership ability
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage strategic vendor relationships across payments, lending, and healthcare services partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendor accounts
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, SLAs, pricing, and performance metrics
  • Monitor vendor KPIs and drive accountability on service levels, reliability, and innovation
  • Partner with Product to align roadmaps and integrations with vendor capabilities
  • Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to resolve escalations and improve workflows
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that support growth and product expansion
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with vendors
  • Ensure vendors comply with regulatory, security, and healthcare industry standards
  • Establish and manage recurring operating cadences with strategic partners, including weekly check-ins and quarterly business reviews
  • Track, prioritize, and drive resolution of vendor action items, escalations, and contractual commitments through to completion
  • Analyze vendor performance trends and proactively surface risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities to internal leadership
